ALGEBRA 2 CP1
We continue our work in Section 9-1, Multiplying and Dividing Rational Expressions. Then we will cover 9-2 , Addition and Subtraction of Rational Expressions. I hope to end the week with a quiz on this material so that when we return from vacation I can cover Section 9-6 and then be able to review for the Midterm Exam.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
We continue our work in Chapter 8 by covering Sections 8-4 and 8-5 this week in order to have one more quiz before vacation ( probably Thursday). When we return from vacation I plan to finish off the chapter so that we can spend some time reviewing for the Midterm Exam.
GEOMETRY HONORS
We will begin Chapter 6 this week, hopefully covering the first three sections. The chapter covers the concept of Similarity and solving proportions. I am planning a quiz for the end of the week.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
My plan is to cover Section 7-3 on Rational Exponents and then go to Chapter 8 on polynomials. I am hoping to cover at least Section 8-1 before our weekly quiz on Friday.
I HOPE EVERYONE HAS AN ENJOYABLE AND RESTFUL LONG HOLIDAY SEASON. WHEN WE RETURN WE HAVE ONLY TWO WEEKS BEFORE OUR MIDTERM EXAMS AND THE FIRST HALF OF THE SCHOOL YEAR IS OVER. ENJOY YOUR TIME OFF!!

WEEK OF DEC. 8-12
ALGEBRA 2 CP1
This week we will finish up the Factoring Packet from Section 5-4. A quiz is scheduled for Wednesday. Then we will work with radicals and rational exponents as we finish up Chapter 5.

This week we begin Chapter 8 on Polynomials. We will cover at least the first two sections, which include adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials. A quiz is scheduled for Friday.

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
This week we will work in Section 5-4, Factoring. I have made up a packet in which we will work in because all types of factoring are shown in the section and we need to break it up. There will be a quiz early next week after the packet is done.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
We continue our work in Chapter 7 by covering Sections 7-3 and 7-4, Rational Exponents and Scientific Notation, of which you should be quite familiar with. A quiz is scheduled for Friday.
GEOMETRY HONORS
Monday is a review day of Chapter 4 because of the Test scheduled for Tuesday. Then we begin Chapter 5, Relationships in Triangles. Here you will learn about medians, altitudes, and perpendicular bisectors, as well as Inequalities in Triangles.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
We finish off Chapter 6 this week by covering applications of systems of equations, aka word problems. Then we will graph Systems of Inequalities. You have already graphed one inequality on a coordinate graph, so now we will graph two inequalities on the SAME graph and look for an overlap. Our weekly quiz will be Friday and will also include the material covered last week.
