ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
We begin the week with Section 10-4, Common Logarithms, including the Change of Base Formula. We will do Problem Solving in class Friday.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
This week we will begin our review for our Final Exam. I will cover two major concepts this week, Radicals and Radical Equations. I have scheduled a quiz for Thursday this week instead of Friday because of the shortened period Friday. Friday will be spent working on a Problem Solving question.
GEOMETRY HONORS
This week I will finish Solids by covering Pyramida, Cones, and Spheres. A quiz is scheduled for Friday.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
The CP1 classes will be doing the same review as the the CP2 class as stated above with a quiz on Thursday and a Problem Solving on Friday.

WEEKO OF MAY 12-16
ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
This week is broken up by MCAS testing Tuesday and Wednesday but I plan to continue Section 10-3 on the properties of Logs. I plan a review on Thursday and a quiz Friday on Sections 10-1 thru 10-3.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
We continue our review of Factoring this week by covering the difference of two squares and Factoring Completely. Our quiz Friday will probably cover all types of Factoring, including the material we learned last week. Remember that because of MCAS Tuesday and Wednesday our class will move to Room 28 for these days.
GEOMETRY HONORS
Our week begins with a Chapter 11 Test. From there I will combine Chapters 12 &13 together. These chapters deal will Solids and we will be solving for the Lateral Area, Surface Area, and Volumes of such shapes as prisms, cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres. I ahve a quiz scheduled for Friday on Prisms and Cylinders.

The week will be spent on solving Rational Equations with worksheets Monday through Wednesday and a quiz tentatively scheduled for Thursday.

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
We have been reviewing Geometry to prepare for next week's MCAS Math Test and this week we start our final unit of the year on Logarithms. I hope to cover the first three sections of Chapter 10 before we have a quiz sometime next week. I say sometime because of the MCAS testing on Tuesday and Wednesday.
