ALGEBRA 2 CP1
We begin the week by covering Section 7-9, Square Root Functions and Inequalities. From there we will review Sections 7-7 to 7-9 for a quiz on Wednesday. Then we will go to Chapter 9 to cover 9-3 to 9-5 before beginning Logarithms.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
We continue our work in Chapter 11 with Rational Expressions. This week we will cover Section 11-4 on multiplication and division of Rational Expressions. A quiz is planned for Thursday and from there we will cover Polynomial Long Division and Synthetic Division.
GEOMETRY HONORS
We continue our work on Circles by covering Sections 10-4 to 10-6, Inscribed Angles, Tangents, and Secants and Angle Measures. A quiz is scheduled for early next week.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
We continue our work with Radicals this week by covering multiplication and division. Our weekly quiz is scheduled for Friday.
ANYONE WHO MISSED WORK JUST BEFORE VACATION HAS UNTIL WEDNESDAY OF THIS WEEK TO GET IT MADE UP. NO EXCUSES.

WEEK OF APRIL 13-17
ALGEBRA 2 CP1
We begin the week with a review of Sections 7-1, 7-2, and 7-4. We have a quiz Tuesday on these three sections. Then I will try to cover sections 7-7, 7-8, and 7-9 before the week is over. We will learn about Composite Functions (you already know what they are ), Inverse Functions, and Square Root Functions.

We begin the week by reviewing our unit on Probability and Odds for a quiz Tuesday. Then I will do a one day review of Factoring before we move on to Chapter 11, Rational Expressions.
GEOMETRY HONORS
We start the week by covering Section 10-3, Arcs and Chords. Tuesday will be spent doing a review sheet on Sections 10-1 to 10-3 for a quiz either Wednesday or Thursday. Then I will go over Section 10-4 , the concept of Inscribed Angles.

WEEK OF APRIL 6 - 10
ALGEBRA 2 CP1
This week we begin Chapter 7 on Polynomial Functions. Sections 7-1 & 7-2 cover graphs of these functions and 7-3 deals with Solving Equations using Quadratic Techniques. A quiz is scheduled for early next week.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
We start the week by reviewing Radical Equations and the Pythagorean Theorem for a quiz Tuesday..Then we will begin a brief unit on Probability and Odds. This will run into the start of next week and then we will have an assessment on it.
GEOMETRY HONORS
The week begins with a review of Chapter 8. I have scheduled a Chapter Test on Wednesday. Since it is a half day we will finish it Thursday in class. Then we will skip up to Chapter 10 on Circles.

This week we will cover Section 9-7 on Special Functions. In this section we will learn how to graph Absolute Value Functions, Step Functions, and Piecewise Functions, with the emphasis on the first two. We will return to our regular schedule of a quiz on Friday.
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK OF THE THIRD TERM. ANY WORK THAT IS OWED TO ME MUST BE MADE UP BY FRIDAY. REPORT CARDS GO OUT NEXT FRIDAY.
