WEEK OF MARCH 2 - 6

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
         We begin the week with a review of Sections 5-6 and 5-7 for a quiz Tuesday.  Then we will try to cover Sections 5-8 and 5-9 the rest of the week.  Thursday will find us in the computer lab retaking the CTC survey.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         We continue our work in Chapter 9 covering 9-2, 9-4, and 9-5.  These sections deal with solving Quadratic Equations by graphing, completing the square, and the use of the Quadratic Formula.  On Thursday we will be in the computer lab for the CTC Survey.

GEOMETRY HONORS
          We continue our work in Chapter 7 with Trigonometry.  We will then work on applications of this concept using the angles of elevation and depression.  A quiz is planned for next week on Sections 7-4 and 7-5.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
          We will spend the week in Section 8-8, Factoring Completely.  Our weekly quiz will be Friday.

WEEK OF FEB. 9-13

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
        We start the week by continuing in Section 6-1, Graphing Quadratic Functions.  Then my plan is to cover Sections 6-2 and 6-3 this week.  In these sections we will learn how to solve Quadratic Equations by graphing and by factoring.  These sections are a prelude to the Quadratic Formula, which appears after this.  I have planned a quiz for the Tuesday after Feb. Vacation on Sections 6-1 through 6-3.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         I will cover Section 8-9 on the Square Root Property Monday, review Tuesday, and have a quiz on Sections 8-8 and 8-9 Wednesday.  From there we will return to Section 7-5 and learn how to graph Exponential Functions.  After vacation we will go to Chapter 9 on Quadratic Functions.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         We begin the week with a quiz on Sections 7-1 & 7-2.  I will then spend most of the week on Section 7-3, Special Right Triangles.  If I can fit in a quiz on 7-3 I will try for Friday.  If not then the Tuesday after vacation.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         We continue in Section 8-6 on Factoring Trinomials.  I will spend the entire week on this concept with a quiz planned for Friday.
