WEEK OF JAN. 26 - 30

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
        My plan for the week is to finish off Section 2-6 by covering Piecewise Function and then going on to Chapter 6, Quadratic Functions, and covering Sections 6-1 and 6-2.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
        We will continue Section 8-7 , Factoring with the Magic Number, for most of the week and then have a quiz on it.  Then I will jump back to Section 7-5 and cover Exponential Functions and their graphs.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         The week will be spent covering Sections 7-1 and 7-2 on Right Triangles.  We will learn the Geometric Mean and the Pythagorean Theorem.  We will have a quiz after I finish 7-2.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         This week we will continue with the GCF and then begin factoring of Trinomials.  I am planning a quiz for Friday but that will depend on the weather.

WEEK OF JAN. 12 - 16

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
         The week will be spent reviewing for the Midyear Exam.  We will also have a second Problem Solving Exercise to do Monday evening.  Your exam is  scheduled for Tuesday Jan. 20.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
        We will be reviewing this week for your Midyear Exam, which is next week.  We will also have a second Problem Solving to do for homework on Monday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         We start the week off with a Chapter 6 Test Monday.  The rest of the week will be spent reviewing for the Midyear Exam which is next Thursday Jan. 22.  You will also be working on your second Problem Solving Exercise for homework Monday evening.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         We will be reviewing this week for your Midyear Exam will falls on this Friday from 12:27  to  2:00.  You will also be doing your second Problem Solving Exercise for homework on Monday night.
       

WEEK OF JAN. 5-9

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
        We begin the week with Section 9-6, Solving Rational Equations and Inequalities.  We will spend 2-3 days on this section and then have a quiz on it.  From there we will begin a review to prepare for the Midyear Exam.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         This week we will cover Sections 8-6 and 8-7, which deals with Factoring Trinomials into products of Binomials.  There will be a quiz either Friday or next Monday. Then we will finish the chapter and review for the Midyear Exam.

GEOMETRY HONORS
          This week we will cover Sections 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5, finishing up Chapter 6.  I have planned a Chapter Test for Friday.  Next week we will review for the Midyear Exam.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         This week we will cover Sections 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4, dealing with multiplication of polynomials.  I have scheduled your weekly quiz for Friday and next week we will review for the Midyear exam, which is on Friday Jan. 16 for this class.
