ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
We begin the week with a review of Section 3-1 & 3-2 for a quiz Tuesday. Then we will go to Sections 3-3 and 3-4, Graphing Systems of Inequalities and Linear Programming. If there is time this week we will cover Systems of Equations with three variables.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
This week we begin Chapter 6 on Systems of Equations. We will solve Systems by graphing, Substitution, and Elimination(next week). Our weekly quiz will be Friday.
GEOMETRY HONORS
The week begins by reviewing for a quiz Tuesday on Sections 2-1 through 2-6 , excluding 2-4. Then we finish Chapter 2 by covering 2-7 & 2-8, introducing you to Segment and Angle Addition. A Chapter Test is coming next week!

The week begins with a review of Chapter 5 for a Chapter Test Tuesday. Then we begin Chapter 6 on Systems of Equations. We will solve these equations by graphing, substitution, and elimination before they have their next quiz (next week).

WEEK OF SEPT.23-27
ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
We start the week off with a quiz on Sections 2-1 to 2-4. From there we will go to Chapter 3 on Systems of Equations. We will solve these equations by graphing, substitution, and elimination. Then we will work on Systems of Inequalities.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
We will finish off solving Absolute Value Inequalities and move to graphing inequalities with two variables. A brief review of graphing linear equations with two variables will be introduced before we begin this section. As usual we will have our weekly quiz Friday.
GEOMETRY HONORS
This week we begin Chapter 2 on Reasoning and Proof. We will learn about inductive reasoning, conjectures, logic tables, and conditonal statements early on, which will then introduce us to the formal two-step proof. Your next quiz will be sometime early next week.

The week starts off with a review of compound inequalities and absolute value inequalities so that we can have a quiz Tuesday. From there we will work on graphing inequalities in two variables with a brief review of graphing linear equations with two variables. This bring us to the end of Chapter 5 and there will be a Chapter Test early next week.

WEEK OF SEPT. 16-20
ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
This week we begin Chapter 2 on Relations and Functions. We will only be covering the first four sections in the chapter because they are part of your Mid-Term Exam. The rest of the chapter will be covered during the second semester and will be part of your Final Exam.
We will learn what relations and funtions are, function notation, Standard Form, Slope Intercept, Point-Slope, and writing and graphing linear equations and functions.

The week will be spent covering compound inequalities with an introduction to absolute value inequalities. We will learn the difference between "and" and " or" problems and how to graph them. Our weekly quiz will be Friday.

The Math Lab is available to you Tuesdays and Thursdays during your Directed Study. It is located in the cafeteria and is run by other teachers in our Math Department. All you need to do is see me for a pass and then you can get extra help. This week I am not avilable Monday because of a Department meeting, but will be here Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
