WEEK OF SEPT. 16-20

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
This week we begin Chapter 2 on Relations and Functions.  We will only be covering the first four sections in the chapter because they are part of your Mid-Term Exam.  The rest of the chapter will be covered during the second semester and will be part of your Final Exam.
We will learn what relations and funtions are, function notation, Standard Form, Slope Intercept, Point-Slope, and writing and graphing linear equations and functions.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
The week will be spent covering compound inequalities with an introduction to absolute value inequalities.  We will learn the difference between "and" and " or" problems and how to graph them.  Our weekly quiz will be Friday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
This week we will finish up Chapter 1, covering angle relationships and then convex/concave polygons.  We will have a Chapter Test early next week (Monday or Tuesday).

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
The week will be spent solving Compound Inequalities and Absolute Value Inequalities.  We will have our next quiz when we finish these two sections.

The Math Lab is available to you Tuesdays and Thursdays during your Directed Study.  It is located in the cafeteria and is run by other teachers in our Math Department.  All you need to do is see me for a pass and then you can get extra help.  This week I am not avilable Monday because of a Department meeting, but will be here Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
