WEEK OF OCT.7-11

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
         We continue our work in Chapter 3 this week, finishing up Linear Programming with some word problems.  From there we will go to Section 3-5, Systems of Equations with 3 variables.  Also included in this section will be some word problems.  A quiz is scheduled for either Friday or early next week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         We continue our work with Systems of Equations, wrapping up Substitution and spending most of the week on Elimination.  We will cover Elimination by Addition and by Multiplication.  Our weekly quiz is still on Friday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
          We wrap up the review of Chapter 2 Monday for a Tuesday Test.  Then we begin Chapter 3 on Parallel and Perpendicular lines.  In the first two sections we will discuss the concept of parallel lines and transversals.  Many different angles are formed with the transversal and it will be necessary to learn the terminology and how to use these terms.  There will be a quiz when we finish Section 3-3, sometime next week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         We continue our work with Systems of Equations, concentrating on Elimination using Addition and the Multplication.  We will have a quiz early next week.
