WEEK OF MAY 13-17

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         We begin the week with a quiz on Section 9-5, the Quadratic Formula and the Discriminant.  From there we will start a unit on Radicals.  We will learn how to simplify, add, subtract, multiply, and divide square roots over the course of this week and into next week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         The week will be spent learning how to factor trinomials into products of binomials.  We have been working on the concept of what a factor is and this will be more detailed this week.  Our weekly quiz is still Friday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
          We have been working on Areas and Volumes of three-dimensional shapes and we will finish this up this week.  We will cover Cones and Spheres and a quiz is scheduled for Thursday, which will also include Pyramids.

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
        We will finish off Section 10-3, Properties of Logarithms, for a quiz Wednesday.  The rest of the week will be spent covering Section 10-4 Common Logarithms in base 10.
