WEEK OF MAY 20 to MAY 24

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
        We continue our work with radicals this week.  We will concentrate on multiplication and division this week with a quiz scheduled for Friday.  A Problem Solving exercise is also planned for the end of the week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
        We continue our work with Factoring Trinomials this week with the introduction of the "Magic Number".  These involve trinomials with the first term having a coefficient other than one.  They are not hard to do if you follow a couple of rules.  Our quiz is still on Friday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         This week we will work on a Review Unit in Factoring to prepare for next year's Algebra 2 class.  There will be a quiz at the end of the week as well as a Problem Solving exercise.

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
          We continue our work in Chapter 10 on Logs with base e and Natural Logs (ln).  Then we will discuss exponential growth and decay before our next quiz.  From there we will venture into Chapter 7 to finish out the year.
