WEEK OF NOV. 4-8

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
         The week begins with Section 5-3, Division of Polynomials.  Here you will learn how to divide polynomials using the long division method and also synthetic division.  A quiz is planned for Thursday and then we will go to Section 5-4 on Factoring.  It is probably the longest section in the text to complete because of all of the different types of Factoring so I have made up a packet that we will work on instead of the book problems.  There will be a quiz on just this section when we complete it, sometime next week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         The week starts off with you finishing Section 7-2 on Division of Monomials including negative exponents.  Then we will work with Scientific Notation, of which you should be somewhat familiar with.  Our weekly quiz is still Friday.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         We begin the week with a review of Sections 4-1 & 4-2 for a quiz Tuesday.  Then we will cover Sections 4-3 to 4-5 on Congruent Triangles.  You will learn at least four ways to prove that triangles are congruent and will have a couple of days of Proof work to follow.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         We begin the week by finishing up Section 7-3 on Rational Exponents and then go to 7-4, Scientific Notation.  I have planned a quiz for Thursday on Sections 7-3 & 7-4 before we start Chapter 8 on Polynomials.
