ALGEBRA 2 HONORS
This week we finish Chapter 7 with Section 7-9, Square Root Functions and Inequalities. Then we will return to Chapter 9 and do Sections 9-3, 9-4, and 9-5. A quiz is scheduled on these sections for next Tuesday March 4.
ALGEBRA 1 CP2
The week will be spent on Section 9-5, the Quadratic Formula and the Discriminant. Worksheets will be assigned each day with a quiz scheduled for Friday.
GEOMETRY HONORS
We finish off Chapter 7 this week by covering the Law of Sines and Cosines. A review will follow and a Chapter Test is scheduled for Friday.
ALGEBRA 1 CP1
We finish off Section 9-5 by discussing the Discriminant and the nature of solutions in a Quadratic Equation. Then we go to Section 9-7, Special Functions. In this section we will learn how to graph Step Functions, Piecewise Functions, and Absolute Value Functions. A quiz will be scheduled for either Thursday or Friday. From there we go into some of Chapter 10 and work with radicals, including simplifying and the Pythagorean Theorem.
