WEEK OF OCT. 20-24

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
     .      This week we continue our work by solving systems of three equations with three variables.  I will also introduce some word problems of this type.  I have also scheduled a Problem Solving exercise for the end of the week.

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
         We begin the week by reviewing Chapter 5 for a Chapter Test on Thursday.  Period C will take the Ready-Step Test in class Tuesday and it will last through Period D, which will be extended in order to finish the test.  Wednesday is a half day and I have planned a Problem Solving exercise for both classes.

GEOMETRY HONORS
          We complete our review Monday for a quiz Tuesday on Sections 3-1 to 3-3 on parallel lines.I have scheduled a Problem Solving exercise for Wednesday the half day.  I am hoping to cover Sections 3-4  & 3-5 on Thursday and Friday.

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         This week I plan to finish up Compound Inequalities and go on to Absolute Value Inequalities.  I have a Problem Solving exercise planned for the half day Wednesday and our weekly quiz on Friday.

COUNTING THIS WEEK WE HAVE ONLY TWO WEEKS LEFT IN THE FIRST TERM. ANYONEWHO NEEDS TO MAKE UP ANY WORK OR QUIZZES MUST SEE ME ABOUT IT.  IT'S AMAZING HOW QUICKLY THE TERM HAS GONE BY.
