WEEK OF NOV. 17-21

ALGEBRA 2 CP1
        We continue our work in Chapter 5 on Polynomials by covering Sections 5-2 & 5-3.  I will introduce Polynomial Long Division and Synthetic Division this week.  There will be a quiz before Thanksgiving break.  On Wednesday the half-day, you will do your first Problem Solving of the term. 

ALGEBRA 1 CP1
        Monday will find us reviewing Sections 6-5 & 6-6 for a quiz Tuesday.  On Wednesday you will do your first Problem Solving of the term.  Then we will begin Chapter 7 on Exponents.

GEOMETRY HONORS
         We continue our work in Sections 4-4 & 4-5 with some Proof Applications.  On Wednesday you will do your first Problem Solving of the term.  Then I will cover 4-6 on Isosceles Triangles
     .  I hope to squeeze in a quiz before Thanksgiving but that is not "etched in stone".

ALGEBRA 1 CP2
         Last week we tried to solve Systems of Equations by the Substitution Method and I know you had trouble with it.  This week we will solve these equations by the Elimination Method, which I feel is an easier method.  On Wednesday we will do our first Problem Solving of the term and then continue with Elimination.  Your next quiz is Friday.  It will be on Substitution and Elimination.
